Run time: 4 min.
Cal Poly graduate and co-founder of Cal Poly's film club, David DeVos, produced this clever short film while he was One of the top 100 finalists for Steven Spielberg's "On the Lot" reality TV show in 2007. After being given the logline - "Something important is lost" - he was given exactly one week to make the film, from script to screen. What a week! His film went on to be an official selection for the Santa Monica Film Festival and we screened it at last year's SLOIFF. We're excited to have David back in SLO, where he will be co-instructor for the Movie in a Day Marathon workshop on Sat. March 7. He will also be in attendance for this screening and is looking forward to visiting his alma mater, where he produced his first film as a senior project.
